Bookkeeper
This role will be a remote job. BF Sports Analysis is based in Dublin and if required some irregular meetings may be done in person in the Dublin City or North Dublin. These will be infrequently at less than 4 per year once onboarding is complete.
The role is a part time role with flexible hours adding up to 30 hours per month.
Additional work is available as a camera operator and/or rugby/GAA analyst if desired and the candidate possess those skills.

The Role: Bookkeeper
Reporting to: Owner
Responsibilities:
- Invoice and Monthly Statement processing
- Monitor customer credit terms and regularly assess the extent of credit extended. Contact customers to ensure compliance with agreed payment terms.
- Data entry, updating and maintaining Accounting Software (Big Red Cloud) and utilising Reporting functionality effectively
- VAT Returns (bi-monthly)
- Manage Employee Expenses monitoring
- Monthly Bank reconciliations
- Monthly/quarterly accounts
- Cash flow forecasting/management
The role may expand with time.
The Candidate
Essential:
- Problem solving and mathematical skills
- Bookkeeping experience or education
- An ability to use Microsoft excel
- Demonstrated experience of good organisational skills
- Experience of working in a team
- Experience of working independently
Desirable:
- Experience using Big Red Cloud software or similar
- Interest in sports
Hours/Renumeration
Hours and renumeration:
Hours: fully flexible up to 30 hours per month remote.
Renumeration: €13.50 / hour
Start Date: Immediate or January 2024
